Palm wireless news

The Register reports that France Telecom has opted for a combination of Palm Computing client and IBM back-end system for a wireless data system for businesses. The new service will combine Internet access and access to corporate applications via Palm devices. Also in the news today, Netscape and Sun will soon ship wireless software that will let people access their email, calendars and address books from their cell phones and other handheld devices, such as Palm VIIs and Palm Vs with OmniSky.
