Palm Factory resurrected

Over a year ago a promising new Palm development tool hit the scene called PalmFactory. It sported an easy to use windows-based drag and drop interface that made creating simple palm apps a breeze. Months went by without and update and messages to the author went unanswered, it seemed as if development of Palm factory had ended. Now it's back and renamed PDA ToolBox with new fixes and developments on the way. PDA ToolBox enables people to build quick and easy palm apps with little or no Palm programming experience.

Palm Factory... is it good?

I'm new to the Palm world and I haven't heard of it, so I'd just like to know how good this product is.

The program is VERY nice for developing forms-based apps. It isn't as feature-rich as say, CodeWarrier, but for a free program, it's great. Check out the site and walk through the tutorials. The process of creating database apps isn't that tough, and it'll make you smile when you create your first app!!! If nothing else, it'll give you a feel for how to create a Palm app. Oh, and the support board is quite active.

(Consider getting CoPilot (check PalmGear) or POSE, the Palm OS Emulator from the Palm developer site. You can drag-and-drop-install the apps and test them right on your desktop without having to go through the HotSync process.)

I tried the latest beta and it looked promising , but the apps that are generated don't work on my Palm IIIc.

Stop repeating the SAME question over and over!!!!

PDA Tool Box is an another freeware to develope somewhat on Palm Pilot. Please see more information at http://www.pdatoolbox.com" CLASS=NEWS TARGET=_NEW>http://www.pdatoolbox.com , but their web site seems to have some porblem.
