Palm names former Apple execs to new posts

Palm today announced the appointments of four new top executives in a move to further establish itself as an independent company following a successful public offering. Also in related news 3Com, who has been restructuring their business plan, will be completely spinning off Palm to it's shareholders sooner than the previously planned 6 months. In a TV interview 3Com COO, Bruce Claflin, announced that Palm will be spun off in a 3-month time frame.
