Games Take Center Stage
The relatively new HPUG web site has a comprehensive review of Liberty 1.2.1, the GameBoy emulator for the Palm. It starts at the beginning and works it's way through the advanced functions, with lots of screenshots in between. It also features an uncut interview with Aaron Ardiri, one of the developers of Liberty, in which he discusses his personal Palm preferences, the future of Liberty, the future of the Palm Platform, and much more. -Matthew Mullenweg
You can now download the GamePad developer kit and start integrating native support for the GamePad clip-on that was discussed previously here. The initial discussion was that the developer kit was $89 - this was only for pre-production units that were being built. The development kit is free, and you can download it from the World Wide Widget Works web site. At the moment, the development kit only supports the Code Warrior development environment.
Liberty, the GameBoy emulator now has support for this device and it takes less than 5 minutes to make changes to your existing code base to implement the support for the GamePad device. A screen shot is available on the Liberty Work In Progress page. -Aaron Ardiri
