Billiards for Palm OS v5.0 Released
Longtime Palm OS developers Megasoft2000 have released a major new version of their popular Billiards game for Palm OS devices. The game is a realistic recreation that features a solid-state physics engine and a "super smart" AI for playing against the computer. This new version brings an all new interface and graphics engine that adds new smoother animations with an overall 50fps frame rate and 180-degree table rotation. There are 7 game types: 8-Ball (Bar Rules), 8-Ball (BCA Rules), 8-Ball (UK Rules), 9-Ball, 1-Cushion Billiards, 2-Cushion Billiards and Pyramid. In addition, high-res+ 320x480 screens are supported.
Billiards v5.0 is available now for Palm OS 5.0 and above. It sells for $19.95 and a free trial period is included in the demo.

RE: 320x480 is about 5 years too late
Centro, part II - PalmOS 6 (*) and 320x480 resolution.
Any takers?

(*) In THIS case, 6 means "5 + enhancements" to allow higher res screens, etc.

Yes, it's so much more trendy to be 320x320.
The last known classic PDA user.
I've recently upgraded from a PLAM TX to a Newton MP2000!

Is the rumor mill churning again or are you just being silly?
I assume you're jesting since, after all, Palm OS 5.x has supported 320x480 since, oh, five years now.

RE: 320x480 is about 5 years too late
my point was that i bought this app way back in the day for my T3. i really wanted a 320x480 version to take advantage of my T3 display (pool table is rectangular, not square - makes perfect sense, no?) but it never came and i eventually lost interest. years went by as i moved from my T3 to a Treo 650 a Treo 700p and now a Centro. Palm hasn't released a new 320x480 device in YEARS - and now these guys FINALLY decide to provide 320x480 support.
RE: 320x480 is about 5 years too late
Since Palm has the source for PalmOS and a license to "modify at will" AND since PalmOS is "free" for Palm to use - as free or FREEER (?) than Nova, it wouldn't surprise me to see that they have...you know...modified it.
